Mission Statement

Our mission at Dr. Maya Angelou Elementary PS #20 is to create lifelong learners.  We strive to instill a love of learning at an early age and build strong partnerships with students, parents, staff and the community, which will carry our students through every stage of their academic career; preparing them for college and beyond. It is our hope to create a community of well-rounded, empathetic and responsible individuals who will inspire others throughout their lives.
