Greetings and welcome to Dr. Maya Angelou Elementary, PS #20- Home of the Blue Dolphins!
Every staff member at Dr. Maya Angelou is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment to our children. Each and every day we engage our students in new opportunities that will enhance their learning journey.
We are committed to providing innovative lessons to our students and incorporating technology in order to meet the needs of the 21st century learner.
Our focus continues with academic mastery, social emotional learning, character education practices, and fostering an educational setting where your child will thrive. High expectations of behavior and work habits are expected from our students.
An important part of our student’s success is the home to school connection. It is part of my mission to establish a legacy of success by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners.
